Not sure if it'll ever stick, but felt like writing. Will be a mix of professional and personal perspective, so hopefully its a bit more palatable.

Use this to build out an identity. What makes you you, is what you identify and keep consistent. What you grow on is the things that you can experience and learn upon. Figure out what compromises you need to make in your current position and see how that may affect your external identity.

It is very easy to get caught up in the dream of esports, but you have to know your limits and to get an idea of the risks that come with the field. You don't have to consciously have it in your head every day, but knowing the drive of an individual allows you and them to become better as a person.

The greatest question that you can ask for your own development as a human is "why?".

Esports-centric or any interests: Why am I good? Why am I bad? Why do I want to do this? Keep asking until you boil the idea of you down until you can't ask why anymore. Find your answers and make your decisions.

In Valorant, it'd be playing the same agent on a consistent map or all maps, building setups and practicing around them consistently.

When looking to accelerate in any field, it's imperative to remove excess variables and ground yourself in constants.

In gaming, changing settings when underperforming short term is often shifting blame and focus into settings rather than in-game issues that need to be addressed.
