We must be principled and remember our humanity otherwise more families and lives will be destroyed.

The hate towards It's systemic, it's wrong and it needs to stop before it hurts more children. Schools, motivated by funding, are driving out those who need help and must have an equal opportunity of life just like anyone else.

I've been working with one parent whose child, along with other disabled children, were systemically being 'managed out' by the trust locally. Their child was driven to the point of suicide ideation at the age of 8. That's no age for any child to contemplate such things.

@eddavey.libdems.org.uk is the reason I came back into it, it's good to see these matters that happen to families across the country tackled and hold onto liberal values that make Britain

I look forward to seeing how they try to wiggle out of this. I imagine we'll hear a lot about the legal obligations of a council that have long been around. They need to show real want for change, not a bunch of showmanship. Let's see what they have.

NNC budget chaos as Reform continue Tory Tax policy and their tired old excuses. We need real change, real ambition and actual Reform. It's all fur coat with Reform as so far their name just appears to be ironic.

The SEND system isn't working anywhere including here in Corby. Regularly I talk to parents with no recourse and children left to rot. The system needs a complete reform to ensure we don't have children left behind. We just demand better.

#LibDems have championed stronger action such formally recognising domestic abuse crimes in law and protecting victims of those crimes.

In England & Wales, around 7.8% women experienced domestic abuse in 2025, with a combined 12.8% of women experiencing domestic abuse, sexual assault, or stalking. Violence against women and girls makes up around 20% of recorded crime in England & Wales, although many incidents go unreported.

Today, we mark the Elimination of Violence Against Women Day.

Today is Carers Rights Day. Across the country people are caring for each other and dealing with tough times.
