figured i'd post it here too, did this piece for an upcoming vrgame that let's you do magics and stuff; pretty neat concept and I kind of wanna see where it goes!

Another update for Fauna Of The Veil!

Design sheets of the first set of playable creatures I'm working on for Fauna of the Veil.

The original model was finished about 10 months ago, had received most of their animations but I wasn't quite happy with the model yet. The full rework matches better with the game.

This was the original concept for the Woar, the "doodle" at the top left was the first itiration of this creature, after which I worked on making the design feel more believable, which gave us the result from my post above

This creature originally designed by me for a D&D campaign I was cooking up, As the design was no longer needed for that campaign it became scrapped for some time, I gave it a new more sleek design and put that into 3D.
The model is fully rigged, animated and has sound.

Character concept and beginning stages of the base model for a personal project that's been put on hold indefinitely.

Hard at work on my game still, While i'm saving up for a RAM upgrade i decided to shift focus to working on the first 6 playables to come to the game.

I'm so proud of how far i've come!

Lot's of 3D work done this week, 2 playermodels now ready for rigging! both still need the dimorphism between male/female and their baby forms
then it's on to the 4 main spawn skins (besides the ones shown here which are their respective Veil Common skins)

these are what I call 'SuperSoft's, where I use the a very soft version of my usual brush to do the sketched lines, they also have a bit more shading then the usual slots and will ONLY be available while I'm saving up for a RAM upgrade

I'm short on RAM for my gamedev stuff; so i'll be streaming a few special streams to gather the money for the RAM upgrade; i hate having to do this while there's a RAM shortage but here we are

Super happy with how the model turned out, during texturing I figured the tail wouldn't look good with the original design; but I am happy with the results!

Working on sounds, all the emote slots of the emotes so far have been set up, However I'll likely rework some of the animations before implementing sounds into them.
