i think any city employee at the director level and up should be required to live in the city, and should not get subsidized parking. i'm tired of people who don't live here telling us that our safety isn't a priority.

any bike that you enjoy riding and buy from a local-ish shop will be fine. ignore most other advice: picking the right bike is mostly about personal preference and comfort. just test out a bunch of bikes and see what you like!

Nearly 57 miles ridden in the past week & a half. I'm making an effort to do this to save gas, help environment, and hopefully encourage someone else to take that ride or walk instead of driving 2 miles.
