I know I haven’t been posting much lately.
I try to only publicly post stuff when I have something positive to say. And frankly, the last few weeks have been all but positive.

But I did manage to enjoy dark-chocolate ice cream in the sun while I was in Dresden last weekend, which was nice.

I used several government subsidies (12000€ in total) and I’m exempt from road tax for 9 years.

If it weren’t for those, an EV would be out of the question for me as well.

Maintenance cost on an EV is basically 0. Those costs over the years when driving a petrol car really add up.

Our “cheapest petrol station in town” now lists Diesel for 2,32€, or 2,01£.

Moments like these make me glad to drive electric. Though I know this can always shift. 2 years ago, the price per mile for EVs was basically twice as high for petrol cars.

That’s not a bad thing, just feels like I had a lot of missed opportunities the last few days. It is what it is.

Back in Germany

NFC has been.. a con..

I already didn’t have much social energy going into the con, but I ended up getting a cold on the first day, so my physical resources weren’t plenty either.

So been a fairly quiet and slow con for me this year.
