a lot of people are willing “Zack Polanski and the Greens are getting serious” into existence, and it is not working

The relevence of mens football is it is a global industry worth billions operated by people with not a shred of moral decency. "Recruiting" boys from Africa is about exploitation, not winning medals.
If there was no competative advantage to being male, European football teams would be "recruiting" women and girls from developing world as fast as they "recruit" young boys.
"No pressure, you can do it or I can get someone in who will. Totally up to you."
I think it is at least too early to draw that conclusion:

I think Paul means if you get an inheritance you haven't spent sufficient time telling your parent/relative/benefactor to spend their own money.
Thank goodness Tim wasn't filmed handing Trump a big bar of gold.

Many people think the blue line is the fastest way round the course, but for most of the route, it is probably the Circle Line.
This is very sad. I only knew him through twitter and here, but a really good lawyer trying to make the world better.
Only because we're between Olympic Games, if he had the chance, he'd probably be one. Now, if only he had the chance to demonstrate he was a competent PM...
His defense looked weak when it was "the lying liar lied to me." Now it seems to have morphed to "none of the people I appointed saved me from making this obviously bad decision."
Was in a nursing home last month and heard this magnificent number blaring out from a packed room. Living their best lives.

What about Keith Richards' cockroache's tupperware?
Dressing up opposition as requiring an impossible condition is the same as simply objecting.
That's a big factor, this was a mistake that just didn't need to be made. But the more general problem with Starmer is he (and what supporters he does have) can't defend decisions he does make because there is no obvious grand plan.
I think the correct response to an owner who suggested that was how the bulb was broken would be "fucking prove it, mate."
There are only ever two questions. Did he pass or fail? If he passed, no problem. If he failed, did you tell the PM? Did you not tell the PM? If you did, no problem. If you didn't, is the PM a sneaky bastatd lawyer who will rely on not having asked you? Or is he not a sneaky bastard lawyer...
Bluesky has activated the Emergency Pervert Filter, which makes the site basically unusable for known perverts. This filter was activated hours ago. Anyone struggling to use the site should notify their local police. Thank you!
My mum is telling Bluesky to shut up and cycle round Millport, of course, its leg isn't broken. Next week she will be reluctantly accepting the radiologist stating the leg is, in fact, broken.
They just didn't have the impact on public health (and baby boxes have had zero impact on public health) that the smoking ban had. They're tinkering, feel-good policies.
That was unfair to quote your original post, so I can see why you would take that view. With the exception of the minimum alcohol pricing (which is definitely bad policy), I don't think any of those policies are bad (my own kids benefited from the original Finnish version of the baby box!).
