Congratulations. This is a good day.
A hot and mildly spicy soup from my favorite chinese or nepalese restaurant. It usually gets the gunk moving so I can cough and blow it out. Second all the recommendations of Vicks.
Evensong is a lovely novel. Glad to be reminded of it.
Lol. I bet it sobered a lot of people up.
Lmao
A choice selection. Especially love Tending to Virginia.

Saturday catnap. Cinnamon loves her self warming cat bed. #caturday #cats #catsofbluesky
Congratulations!
Standing in front of Word on the Water book barge.
Interior shot showing bookshelves, reading nook, and fireplace.
Finally made it to Word on the Water book barge on London’s Regent’s Canal. Small but choice selection of books, we found two to take home.
I have switch plates at most of my light switches that I’ve collected over the years at various craft markets. It makes turning the lights on and off an aesthetic as well as utilitarian experience.
It is and good luck.
Now I want to watch that, followed by Local Hero.
It wasn't easy but we still talked books today at #ewgc. Hope the issues with hashtags have been worked out by the time our February chat rolls around. Until then, happy reading everyone!
The DC Smith/Kings Lake Investigation series by Peter Grainger is a self published smash. I am a big fan and very excited that @hachettelibrary.bsky.social has plans to make the whole series available in print. Hoping to see a drc of the latest, SOME SORT OF JUSTICE. #ewgc 💙📚
Hey GalleyChatters, if you're trying to follow #ewgc - apparently, the Bluesky search is not working and is a few hours behind. If you follow me, please RT this so we get the word out.
Luminous is the perfect word for this book. LOVED it. #ewgc
Jane Harper is back with LAST ONE OUT. I think it will divide her fans. It's a slow burn, atmospheric read and I ended up in the pro column but there were moments I wished it would move a little faster. #ewgc
Not yet. I'm very frustrated.
So good. I loved Eddie and Daphne so much. #ewgc
THE KEEPER by Tana French -- I don't how she does it, but she makes conversation between drunk old men in a small town Irish pub white knuckle, page-turning reading. I love the Cal Hooper books, each one is better than the last. #ewgc @prhlibrary.bsky.social 💙📚
Well, hell. Time to scrounge for leftover holiday chocolate. #ewgc
WHISTLER by Ann Patchett. Those four words say it all. Expect huge demand. BEL CANTO has long been my favorite of all her novels I've read, but this one really gave it a run for money. It is my favorite cover. #ewgc librarylovefest.bsky.social 💙📚
Hi Mara! I'm here but having trouble following #ewgc. I wonder what's up?
Me three! So glad to find I'm not the only one. #ewgc
I have several posts scheduled for #ewgc today. We're later than usual in the month, will be interesting to see if that affects attendance. I hope not, I need some recommendations and this group is the best at that.💙📚
You’re welcome. Looking forward to the next adventure!
I love seeing a book become popular through word of mouth—my large library system has thousands of holds across formats. I’m curious — what made you pick this book from the many clamoring for your attention?
Holy smokes, that’s an impressive amount of miles. You could have walked to New Orleans and had hundreds of miles left over. Hundreds.
Glad y’all are on the mend going into the New Year.
