I’m traveling for the holiday next week and will be in a hotel for a week and hotel coffee consistently sucks. So does Starbucks, so why gamble?

Starting to seriously think that having ADHD means having to separate excitement and short term thrills from genuine happiness. Have to intentionally chase more moderate forms of happiness and excitement

It’s important to find something that gives both. I channel it into my homelab. This used to be 1 router, 1 switch, and two computers. Now it’s…. Well, homelab spaghetti! Each new piece gives its own short term excitement. The more moderate long term is seeing it work as intended.

Man I guess I have to post stuff here too I guess. New chair setup for Elite: Dangerous. Dual VKB NXT Pros with the throttle module, dry clutch on the left for thrusters. Hands down this makes core mining so much fun.

I bought a framework 16 with the GPU and outside of a couple non-breaking annoyances, it’s been a fantastic little machine. Easy to get into and work on, and all of the hardware is supported out of the box by OpenSUSE. Using Lutris and Steam, I’ve been able to run WoW and Satisfactory without issue.
