I've found zero engagement doing the kind of microblogging stuff I normally did in the past. I have many interests, but when you don't have a pre-existing audience/status, you get zero interaction even when you reach out to people within those communities. Political stuff I'll get some crumbs though

This is yet another example of how we are living in the United Scams of America.

In New York State, the average annual spending per medicaid recipient was $5000 annually. Now that people like me are forced into the marketplace while still receiving a subsidy, the state will now be paying an insurance company nearly $7000 on top of the $6000 I'll be expected to pay next year.

I switched to foot shaped shoes some years ago and while I still have some work to do, my foot health is much better and my toes are happier now that they aren't crushed in everything I put my foot in. Waiting for more cycling shoes to catch up to this as well!

Exactly. I definitely shifted my focus away from the internet which is sad because I had found so many mutual interest connections in past places and now everything has to be hyper focused and usually from a marketing lens vs a genuine discussion or philosophical one. The real world has also shifted

It's a whole can of worms 😂 photography on social media in general is seemingly a crapshoot these days when you can't get people to look at anything more than 2 seconds as they scroll. Trying to invite more interaction has been a goal of mine but as you can see I haven't succeeded much.
