There are only 44 female TD’s in the Dáil. Each female Minister who stood up to speak during the confidence motion was heckled and shouted over during their speaking time by Independent Ireland. It is not acceptable.

Labour will be voting No Confidence in the Government this week.

On Wed morning, we called on Gov to engage urgently then with representative organisations & for an end to the blockades.

The Gov must do more to address rising costs in this #Energy & #CostOfLiving crisis.

Nothing for ordinary people.

This Government is so out of touch that it prioritised tax cuts for property developers and fast food multinationals over ANYTHING for ordinary people in the budget.

They could have avoided this getting this far if they had intervened earlier in the week.

Half of the children in one school in Dublin are #homeless.

No roof over their head. Nowhere to do homework. Nowhere to play. No where to be a kid.

This should offend us all.

It’s a national disgrace at the hands of Govt inaction & now 4000+ children in #Dublin alone are the casualties.

Welcome news overnight - Trump pulling back from the brink on #Iran war after his appalling & genocidal rhetoric over recent days.

Now essential that a sustainable peace can be delivered to protect people in the region - & to ease the escalating #CostOfLiving crisis worldwide & in Ireland.

Children's hospital completion date missed for 18th time The Oireachtas Committee on Health has been told that BAM has said it will not meet its 18th substantial completion date of 30 April for the new National Children's Hospital.

This has descended into a farce.

On March 13th BAM told the Minister April 30th was the date for substantial completion of new National children’s hospital

Then six working days later, they say it’s not

And the State has been rendered powerless to act. It is outrageous
