I just learned about how there are tourists who don’t like the singing frogs in Puerto Rico. If tourists ever got rid of the singing geckos in the Philippines, I’d be so pissed (I haven’t been in so long, pls tell me the geckos are still around). Leave these creatures alone.

I am not a phone person, at least not like when I was a teen, but I’m glad I chose to pick up the phone today. I haven’t spoken to some of my east coast friends in a min. I’m back in NY (had been house/pup sitting in CA) and the calls helped me transition without having to rush out of the apartment.
My social media habit has slowed over the past few months. I recently signed onto TikTok and see discourse about NYC influencers “crashing out” because someone called them boring. TBH… I don’t know who any of these NYC influencers are. I just see topic relating to them.

Adding onto this, the kids are now on the Metro North headed to New Haven and are buying more alcohol in the bar car. There is no bar car in the Metro North, not since I’ve started riding it. According to my research, that was discontinued in 2014.
I love it when I’m reading a book and discover inaccuracies. So far I’m enjoying “Real Americans” by Rachel Khong… but she has these kids flying Seattle-Newark and buying alcohol from a Duty Free. You can’t do that, there is an international travel requirement if you want to shop there.
