Finals Jarl ☠️ - Good game. Aggressive stalagmite blocks kept me from being able to extend into Bare fangs in arsenal for several turns. A pummeled Boulder Drop got me pretty good. To regain momentum I have to try to scabs to regain momentum and roll the dreaded 1, then blind discard a BRB next turn.
Quarters Pleiades 💪 - Same as above.
Semis Fai 💪 - CLOSE game. I get comboed to 10, opp at 17. Break chest, wildride discard my wild ride and draw BRB. I play BRB discarding my Show of Strength and draw BRB+Blue. Play BRB, and draw blue+ Bare Fangs for a 19 damage turn then kept momentum for the W.
R5 Dori ☠️ - Lost the die roll, used up fleshbag early & completely misplayed into a Blunten. I wind up discarding a BRB at some point too for the extra ouchies.
R6 Pleiades 💪 - Overboard and was able to pitch some GA and BRB/TLFL for second cycle, while keeping Pleiades in a full blocking position.
R3: Oscilio 💪 - early erase face + fleshbag blocking paved the way for a powerful BRB turn. Rode the momentum to victory.
R4: Jarl 💪 - I don’t remember much. At one point a C&C pummel felt like it was closing the door on me. A wild ride let me draw a pretty impactful Reckless stampede at one point.
R1: Fai 💪 - my sideboard plan pays off big time - I chain go- agains into Erase face & strongest survive to shut Fai out of the game. Ended at 37.
R2: Kayo AD: 💪 - my opponent was doing some Kayo experimentation with dreacts, and my deck just sung. Discarded 2 beast within and saw BRB first.
Fell just shy of adding LL points to Kayo AD yesterday - very happy with my run & what is likely my final Kayo AD tourney! #fabtcg
