Billions of your taxpayer dollars have been spent on bullets and bombs instead of health care for Americans.
And there is STILL no guarantee that Iran will not get a nuclear weapon in the future.
I am praying this ceasefire holds. I am praying that diplomacy gives way to a lasting solution. And above all, I am praying for peace on earth.
I will not stay silent while our President threatens to commit war crimes in our name.
There comes a time when basic humanity transcends partisan politics.
To my Republican colleagues: Now is the time to stand up and speak out.
Trump just threatened to wipe out an entire civilization.
We cannot let war make us lose sight of our humanity.
We cannot forget that Iranian children are children of God too.
We cannot allow war crimes to be committed in our name.
Congress must act now.
Don’t let the President distract you from his mission of funneling wealth from the bottom to the top.

The SAVE Act is about making sure only the “right people” are allowed to vote.
If those who wanted to limit voting to the “right people” in the 1960s had succeeded, I wouldn’t be a Senator.

The ENTIRE goal is to make it harder for you to vote.

Why is he so afraid that people will make their voices heard?
It's because he is losing.
The President’s attack on mail-in ballots is desperation plain and simple.
It’s a panicked attempt to silence the people and salvage a failing presidency.
It will not stand.
Think about this.
If the SAVE Act passes, your driver’s license won’t be enough to register in most states.
Even your Social Security number won’t be enough.
You’ll need your birth certificate or a passport just to register.
We can’t lose sight of this.
Our President cut health care, cancer research, and food for hungry families.
And then turned around to spend billions on war.
