Thing is, it’s dubious that this is even “vibes” based anyway. Trump has for a while reversed his position on the TikTok ban. His 2020 action amounted to nothing. The ban comes from a SEPARATE action 4 years later by dems with R support.

If there's anything I hope young creatives take from David Lynch, it's to reject the modern IP-driven impulse to explicitly explain and cleanly categorize the logic behind every single event and decision inside and outside of a story at least some of the time.
Laura Palmer will always be the most important piece of David Lynch's legacy to me, because i will always see in her face the faces of women i know and have known who carry her pain with them, and in his kindness to Laura i see the kindness that so many have never received.

David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.
What can you say? Without David Lynch, we're all poorer. The world is a little less. One of the greatest artists of our time, who left us so many gifts, not least of which was his boundless love of cinema, an art form he shaped for all time.
