Oh, NOW he thinks people are entitled to anonymity.

It is fitting that he should be stripped of the anonymity he hid behind while revealing the most personal details of Gaiman's victims. While Chris' blog is certainly investigative, it is not journalism by any means. Journalists find evidence and contextualize it. They reach out to the subjects of their articles seeking comment and/or clarification. They seek out corroborating sources, speak to experts to weigh in on specialized topics, etc. Most importantly, a journalist lets the evidence guide them to a conclusion, rather than seeking evidence to support an already-drawn conclusion. Court-Dobson does none of this. His blog's title gives away the fact that he is approaching this project with an agenda in mind. He has poured through social media history of victims, including that which has been deleted specifically to protect these women from abuse and harassment (via the wayback machine), and posted only those things that make the women seem salacious or untrustworthy. Stripped cleanly from any context save that which he assigns them, these images and posts are weaponized, along with the posting of personal details that have no bearing on the case. From these, he draws conclusions that he is unimaginably unqualified to make. For example, the use of 20 year old LiveJournal photos to make the assumption that one of the victims is into BDSM. Did he reach out to her for comment? No, he did not (I have independently confirmed this to be a fact). Did he speak to any experts on human sexuality, on sexual abuse or any type of abuse? No, he did not. In fact, he seems not to have consulted anyone at all, about anything. Instead, he started out with the supposition that "Neil Gaiman is Innocent" and started a smear campaign against the victims of the multi-millionaire with the high-powered PR firm and teams of lawyers at his disposal. Women who are already dealing with trauma. This is not journalism. It's muckraking toadyism in service of a vile cause.

Fuck Neil Gaiman and anyone who defends him.

So Neil Gaiman is now actively sharing a substack that doxxes, attacks, defames, invites harassment of and publishes extremely personal details of his victims. He also praises this as high journalism.
It is not. It is nothing but propagandist, cherry-picked muckraking.
