I don't think sex should be seen as taboo, it's kinda dumb how something that's a natural part of being human and expressing love is seen as worse than violence and gore. That being said, my main hesitation with games like these is, I'm gay, and most of them don't have gay options, or are limited.

AVGN introduced me to reviews as entertainment, but you showed me that anyone could just do it, that I could do it. I've deviated quite a bit from your style of reviews (my earlier videos are more comparable) and do long form analysis videos now, but I wouldn't have started if I hadn't found you.

Back when Sonic 4 came out I had a friend whose a Sonic fan talk about it, so I looked up playthroughs of it and found the Brainscratch one, which led me to you and SGB. Been watching ever since, and you've been the biggest inspiration for my own channel.

I actually like the N64 soundtrack more. Probably because that was the version I played, it felt like it fit more than the cd soundtrack. Those always felt more like remixes, and the boss music it too intense for what they are. Also the intro music is much more foreboding.

I love Mr. X, design wise it's one of my favorite Kremlings, but Kackle works better for the role he has in game. A Mr. X boss would have gone hard though.

When I tried playing it with my PS4 controller the camera kept spinning, even if I unplugged it, even with DS4 on. Enjoyed what I played even if I had a hard time with mouse and keyboard.

Yup, you have all the abilities right away, except flight and the shield which were repurposed as powerups you need to eat to activate similar to the berries.

There's also a lot of platforming sections, sub areas, or challenges that were either simplified so much to be trivial, or outright removed. The new stuff isn't as good as the things they removed.

I was pretty disappointed in it, I love the og, and while there are improvements, I think most of the changes weren't. Especially giving all your abilities at the start, removing the metroidvania aspects just makes the worlds less interesting.

The metroidvania elements of Tooie and og Yooka added a lot to their worlds, and I don't like removing that. And it really doesn't help this game because there's only 5 worlds. There could have been a ng+, or have it an easier difficulty. I am enjoying it, but that keeps bothering me.

I'm most of the way through world 2, and there are some things that are improved, but I just can't get down with having all your abilities at the start. When I 100%ed world 1 I was kind of sad that I wouldn't have to come back to it.
