On my way to the Supreme Court where I'll be proud to support 15-year-old Becky Pepper-Jackson, West Virginia's only transgender athlete, as she opposes the state's effort to ban her from playing as herself.
Win or lose, Becky and her family are heroes for standing up for what's right

5 years after the Jan. 6th insurrection, Trump got away with inciting violence, and pardoned those who carried it out. His disdain for the rule of law continues.
We deserve a country where threats to democracy & political violence aren't normalized.
We demand accountability.
Merriam-Webster’s human editors have chosen ‘slop’ as the 2025 Word of the Year.
Two protesters at No Kings rally in Tallahassee, FL. One in an inflatable frog costume and one in a unicorn inflatable.

We're witnessing the most aggressive, fanatical crackdown on free speech in my lifetime. The speed and breadth of government censorship and private sector and nonprofit capitulation has been astonishing. As has the lack of urgency/silence from people who've long claimed to care about this stuff.
A thing I am often pleasantly surprised by is that random people I met on the internet over 25 years ago and thought seemed like good people have, by and large, turned out to still be good people
I’ll just say this: I’ve lost respect for MANY people, and they’ll never get it back
never forget that you can block someone for simply being annoying
The decisive test of our society in my lifetime was the 2024 election and our failure was spectacular and total. I will never again have any faith in the American electorate to do the obviously right thing.
As so many public and corporate institutions lose your trust, don’t forget to support the ones that still earn it, especially nonprofits and independent media.
A 4 panel comic The first two panels are titled “Blocking someone on Twitter” Panel 1: Blue guy holding a door open. Red guy stands in the doorway Panel 2: Blue guy slams door on Red guy, however the door has large glass panels, so Red Guy can still keep watching Blue guy like an absolute pervert. The second two panels are titled “Blocking someone on Bluesky” Panel 3: The Blue guy is reaching down and picking up a large piece of machinery. The red guy watches him. Panel 4: The large piece of machinery is revealed to be a shoulder mounted nuclear cannon. Blue Guy uses the cannon to blast Red guy completely out of existence.
a comic about blocking
Hug your loved ones every chance you get; life is precious and far too short.
Still feeling really bad and not at all good
