-grasp on Peter and MJ’s characterisations and what makes their relationship click with fans.
I believe that Slott is a genuinely good writer since his She-Hulk run is amazing but he struggles with writing long term runs and works best with stories that can be enjoyed-
Renew Your Vows is one of Slott’s best Spider-Man stories in my opinion (his other top three being New Ways To Die and Spider-Island) because without the pressures of having to follow up on previously established plot points and also set up future storylines, he has a very good-
-and physique to Peter
As much as I disliked the writing in Clone Conspiracy, I think that Jim Cheung’s rendition of Kaine is my baseline for how he should look.
He should be sufficiently messed up that you can tell that something is wrong with him but he should still have a similar facial structure-
newspaper article about glinner. Headline is "I was treated like a terrorist for my tweets, says Linehan"
When I was announced as the lead in a Doctor Who spinoff in 2023 Graham Linehan tweeted about me for TWO DAYS, tagging the BBC and others to say that I am pro-child abuse and they shouldn't work with me.
Are trans people included in that?
Many of those seeking hugs are the (rejected) kids of ‘gender critical’ transphobic parents!
That would violate both the Good Friday agreement and the brexit agreement and I don’t think that Keith is that committed to damaging and will most likely just drag his feet on making any changes.
Throwback to when we caught Akua Reindorf (commissioner at the EHRC) at the LGB Alliance conference wearing anti trans merchandise. And giving talks to anti trans staff groups at the Guardian...

And yet the EHRC still gets re-accreddited by GANHRI...
A trans woman wrote to Wetherspoons to ask which toilets they're meant to use. Wetherspoons replied acknowledging the Supreme Court's verdict...and that trans customers can use whichever loos they want to but to please lock the cubicle door.
Labour now being outflanked on the left by Wetherspoons.
I’ve started reading Greg Rucka’s run on Punisher and it’s a really good touch that Frank doesn’t even say anything for the first few issues since it makes him feel more like an entity who exists only to kill people than an actual human being which is exactly how criminals should perceive him.
-at least not to anywhere near the same levels that Jewish and Roma communities are.
Hi.
I’m a Jewish trans woman.
Please stop appropriating generational trauma of the holocaust from Jewish and Roma people.
White people being told to stay in their lane isn’t transphobia.
Non-Jewish and Roma queer people who were born after the Shoah aren’t affected by the holocaust-
Thinking about how superheroes could be formed from climate change, the way the 60's Marvel heroes were all formed from various forms of radiation.
When you have 100 important research projects that you'd like to do related to trans youth, but the UK funding environment is institutionally hostile, so you look at leaving the topic area you know best.
Will end up with just transphobes conducting university research on trans youth in the UK.
You’re robbing trans kids of the best possible start in their lives.
Their suffering will be on your hands and we won’t ever let you forget it.
Chamber is quickly growing on me as one of my favourites of the more obscure characters from the X-Men universe as he’s like a version of Cyclops but with more edge and a body horror twist that adds to the adolescence aspect of the mutant metaphor.
Considering how my first introduction to Emma Frost was in Wolverine And The X-Men where she had a really stereotypical upper class British accent, it feels weird to imagine Emma using Yiddish words.
After almost a year of exclusively conspiracy stuff from Ultimate Spider-Man, it’s really fun seeing Peter dealing with some street level crime and continuing to build up to the classic Spidey persona even if his jokes aren’t exactly up to scratch yet.
I like that part of Exceptional X-Men is Kitty going out of her way to stop her students from becoming superheroes and avoiding the mistakes that the X-Men made with her that messed up her development.
Exceptional X-Men has been my favourite book from the current era so far but I’m don’t like Kitty and Emma having an antagonistic relationship after the development they had in the Krakoan era.
"You cannot defeat me for I am the SUPERIOR Infowars!"
This is stupid on several levels not the least of which is pissing off companies that have accounts like fucking Disney and the White House but it also reads like a Doc Ock quote.
Even if some of his creative decisions are a bit weird, X-Men: The End undoubtedly benefits from the fact that Claremont just has complete free reign and doesn’t need to worry about maintaining the status quo of a monthly ongoing.
-love letter from Chris Claremont to one of his greatest creations and contributions to the X-Men universe.
To anyone who loves Kitty Pryde as much as I do, I would highly recommend reading X-Men: The End because even though Kitty is a relatively minor character for most of the trilogy, there’s this beautiful moments that truly feels like it’s the perfect ending for Kitty and is also a great-
I’m really hoping that the hints of Jon having feelings for Nia gets expanded upon since as a straight woman, there’s like barely rep for us in comics.
