Guess I'm mostly done with Windows entirely at this point, tired of it breaking on the daily on multiple machines when I just need to get shit done.

One hopes images like this, when paired with the knowledge that everything we burn ends up in that tiny slice of gasses, would help contextualize why we need to move away from energy sources we set on fire.
One hopes. Climate communicators should make some hay of this.
This is the "slow" part of the Stratipi.com work ...

A black and white pic of Iranian-French graphic novelist Marjane Satrapi holding a cigarette in her hands. Beside her pic is a text of her words: "The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you. And our governments are very much the same..."
I feel like now is a good time to share this again
Always ready to go! (No pad anymore though)
In other news, swapped out the dual-device, dual-monitor KVM on my desk for the quad-device, single-monitor KVM (both from @level1techs.bsky.social)

So far, everything fit together perfectly!
The remaining parts should be arriving tomorrow.
Public showcase will happen this weekend at PDXLAN ;)

I live here in Seattle, and honestly felt exactly the same after returning home from Tokyo.
We have one of the best transit networks in America here in Seattle... but its a fraction of what the world has.
Still super happy to see our growth tho! :D

Cartoon by Denis Lushch showing three men sitting at a table. the one on the left has nothing, the one on the right (wearing a hard har) has a cookie on a plate, and a man in a blue suit in the middle has a plate full of cookies. He says to the worker, ``Careful mate...that foreigner wants your cookie!''
For people saying the Artemis program is a waste of money that should go to the poor/hungry/sick/uneducated etc. I understand.
You've probably seen this cartoon. The man on the right with one cookie is NASA. The man in the middle is the Pentagon with 37 cookies. From whom do you take a cookie?
