Who wouldn't want to engage in an afternoon of games and bread rolls?

For the Oz 9 has become a TTRPG* of sorts, and the crew are even now sorting out the bumps, rumples, and gaping holes in the game’s design. Or creating more, which is frankly much more likely. The thin and hollow voice of Lady Nibble Biscuit echoes through the hallways, reminding us to keep an eye out for the eventual fund-raising campaign to turn this morass of cards, dice, weird little figures, bits of cardboard, and bad ideas into a game one might voluntarily choose to play. Stay tuned, the voice whispers around corners and from deep in the shadows. “Stay tuned,” indeed. Meanwhile...." N2's text is covered up by the Narrator's speech bubble.

So, not to be overly dramatic or whatnot, but we are officially announcing the soon(ish, maybe, hopefully)-to-be-launched (probably on a Tuesday) OZ 9 THE GAME (fundraiser)! We are in the throes of game creation, and it's silly, chaotic, and hopefully good fun. Hopefully.

For the past few years, my daughter Lia has been performing with this group for Christmas (formed by her beloved teacher Ken Brader, who passed earlier this year). For her senior year, I get to dust off the old trombone and join her.

They did play "Working Undercover for the Man" so I may have been hypnotized.
