I'm starting to think I follow the wrong people. We should be screaming Jonathan Joss's name from the rooftops. As someone who has seen their partner get shot (we were very lucky and it did minimal damage) I feel like now is the time for us to really show people what pride is about.

Id be remiss if I didnt come back to include that he was an Indigenous man. But the very fact that I let that fact slip is evidence of the root issue: the privileges some of us have can blind us until it's too late. We have to stand together as minorities of all kinds. Division is our enemy.
