I get that it seems unlikely to you, but Andy is really trying to show you what he sincerely believes to be true. It’s easy to be cynical — you can call him a shill and he can call you a grifter — but you’re both trying to figure things out. Frustrating to watch you two miss each other.
For what it’s worth, Andy sincerely thinks you’re mistaken. You each have very cynical views of the other, and you’re both wrong. It’s hard to find out what’s true in any field.

I'm on Twitter and this is not my experience. If there are people I'm engaging who are engaging with far right-wing accounts, it's antagonistically. Same with far left-wing accounts, for the most part.

There’s a group of people on Twitter who use social media as a place to connect where you’re allowed to hold a wide range of opinions and still be loved and respected. It feels really good to have that kind of space and community around you. I hope Will can find that, either online or off.

The companies aren't using AI as excuse. Anil's still blaming them. It's a little silly. How many years does Google have to pay people $300k to do nothing?
At some point anil dash become insane. His thesis is that these workers weren't laid of because of AI but just because they weren't needed, but that's presented as nefarious with no justification. It doesn't make any sense.
