While I don't have a pic of the untextured model on hand, this is like a mid poly model and it looks good bc of textures alone

And this is like a PS2 polycount, but I still sorta look like a blob on the textureless view lol

Bc like, the first thing you learn about making low-poly art is that the model can be a little jank but if the texture is rly good it'll still look good bc the texture gives it the look

Also, low-poly graphics often require a focus on art direction, bc of their reliance on textures. The actual design needs to be good bc you literally have to draw or photo edit the textures, which are usually lower res, to make it look good

Tbh I think that it's important that both can exist (largely bc queer minors need a safe, non-sexual space) but the expectation that queer ppl be exclusively PG is ofc bullshit bc cishets aren't held to that same standard at all, bc our culture is insane and disconnected from reality and nature

What's this game? It looks like a game I'd see in a dream

Again, haven't played it, but even Death Stranding, at least from what I've seen, has fairly stylized cinematography. Like, sure, the graphics are realistic but the environments and art direction aren't perfectly naturalist

I've never even played this game and I'm annoyed at this bc literal sucking all the style and atmosphere for tasteless Realism™
