We all hear stories in the dark by Robert Shearman. Three volumes featuring a skeleton playing the violin, a barber shaving somebody with two men in coats watching, and a kid with a pumpkin head standing next to another kid in bed with a picture of Jesus on his wall. They are all pencil drawings.

It's taken nearly two years, but I have finally heard all the stories in the dark. Nice chap, that Robert Shearman. He actually followed me on the bird app before it became a Nazi bar. I can only call reading this a venture of masochism. God knows what writing it was like...

I've ended up picking up a few episodes of Archer. Somehow it's been long enough since I first watched it that I can now feel nostalgic for those earlier seasons

Throughout a career in publishing, the commonest problem I’ve found in authors trying to break into the business is their fear of taking themselves seriously. If that’s you, try this. (Little thread follows.)
1. Remove “aspiring” or “would-be writer” from your bio. Replace it with “writer.”

Up there with things like "X is overrated". There's probably a valid critique in there somewhere but the person saying it doesn't have the media literacy to properly express it
