Conversely, not all of us have the ability to write stories. Your logic is very hypocritical and devalues visual artists. I, as a writer, am not more valuable than a visual artist.

The harm & hypocrisy of AI art — Matt Corrall Whilst AI companies claim to be taking us towards the future, generative AI means less human connection and the widespread impoverishment of the visual world. As a creative in the the tech industry, I...

I've included an article that discusses some of the ethical concerns. On a more pragmatic note, however: You won't get support from the creative community here

In addition, Literary Agencies are banning AI in submissions. If you use AI art, why wouldn't they assume that your writing is AI too?

This year, I'm challenging myself to create at least one #premade #bookcover a day until I've 365.

Currently, I've these three up on my Kofi shop for NZ$50 each.

I do understand: you want permission. There’s a machine in the corner wrapped in human skin that makes things out of shit and blood to look like whatever you want (as long as you don’t look too closely). You gave one to your teacher and they didn’t notice. Your boss told you to use it after they laid off half the team and it was fine. You fed one to your kids and they liked it. You want to know you can use it sometimes without me thinking less of you. You don’t need me to believe it’s useful, you just want me to be polite about it.

Great post about generative AI. Happy Holidays. Don't say I never gave you anything. anthonymoser.github.io/writing/ai/h...

I don’t like the term smut. I write sex scenes that are a natural progression of a romantic relationship and don’t need to be referred to as if they’re something odd or uncouth. Having said that, I often use it anyways because most of my readers would be most familiar with the term.
