Shion Tsuji’s voice really knows how to yank at the heartstrings, both this and M/elody for Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 hit really hard. The Orihime lip sync to that long “Zu~tto” is just a soul wallop.

The final original TV run OP, hard not to feel strongly about it, especially with the episode card callback in the visuals with Ichigo, and it helps Scandal came back to deliver a very good song better than Shojo S even imo. Has a wistful quality to the song too, the feels.

The start of Bleach’s absolute fire streak of ending themes imo, those last 4 for the original run are so great (but all very emotional naturally).

While I am convinced there were ichiruki truthers at studio Pierrot, I think this ending works well for the two platonically.

A great song, visually spectacular, a fast-paced rhythm, and, in short, an almost perfect opening for the occasion. If I had to ask for anything from this opening, maybe I would have liked to see a bit more of the battle against Ulquiorra Cifer.

One of Bleach’s most important story arcs, the most important one for many fans, deserved openings that lived up to these episodes. This is one of them, and I think it’s hard to be disappointed with what they did here.

I’m sure I’m not wrong in saying that many of you were expecting this opening to make the Top 10, or even the Top 5.

Once again, this is proof of the incredibly high caliber of everything else that’s yet to appear in the ranking.

Essa aqui é boa demais

I really like it when an opening or ending features one of the characters singing the song, making it a diegetic song. Not only does it feel more special, but it directly links that character to the song’s lyrics and adds an extra layer of depth.

Of course, Orihime deserved her own ending too, and as an IchiHime fan, I couldn't be happier that it turned out to be such a great ending.

But the song by ROOKiEZ is PUNK’D is beautiful, one of those tracks I keep coming back to on my commute to work.

This ending is a personal weakness of mine; I don't know why I like it so much, since visually it's not really my style.

also one of Younha's other songs got used as an intro for one of the Bleach games (the first GC fighter, I think?)

I think this is one of those OP that reminds us of that, and it’s impossible not to think—seeing how this OP makes constant references to their work over the years—that, even knowing the series had been canceled, the people who worked on the Bleach anime cared about this series until the very end.

We tend to think of animation studios by their names, as companies, as impersonal entities. It’s easy to forget that behind words like Pierrot, Toei, Madhouse, Kyoto Animation, or MAPPA are people just like you and me.

People who also feel and who also care about things.

From the close-up in this sequence focused on Ichigo (a nod to the similar shot in the first intro, which was faster), I always get emotional when I see it.

And while the previous ending was a perfect tribute to the Bleach story, what was for a long time the series’ final opening sequence was the animation studio’s own tribute to the anime itself.

It’s a tribute to the story of Bleach up to that point, to its greatest moments and characters.

I think all long-running anime series deserve an ending like this.

I think it’s understandable that when we think of SPYAIR, we immediately think of Haikyuu!! and Gintama, but it’s also unfair that people tend to forget about this ending.
