SOOOO glad Rep Andy Ogles thinks this is the appropriate response to rapists. But I have some NEWS for him, his boss the President is a convicted rapist.
LET'S GOOOOO

I don't know the steps to that one. Maybe if you hum a few bars, I'll get it.
I found this series to be good up to a point, then it's a long slog to the rather unsatisfying finish.
It's interesting, in that the characters unintentionally started something and then have to see it through, with the complexities that come with governments and bureaucracies and societies.
I've seen nothing about this on the local news @koin6.bsky.social @kgw.com.web.brid.gy You'd think they'd cover something like this.
Good answer, gramma.
Jesus Flipping burgers Christ, this story is GRIM.
Where's the human compassion, empathy, HUMANITY? Leaving a dead person on the floor and making everyone else continue working around them... that manager should be ashamed, as should the employees who didn't stand up to them.
Especially as it's capped at something like $25000 (MFJ) and phases out once your income hits a certain level.
AND, as a Door Dasher, I'm betting she's a contractor, not an employee, so she has to pay SE tax (15.3%) plus income tax.
Pretty sure that’s the half-baked “Greater Idaho” scheme in a nutshell
You can tell this is fake because of the phrase “fresh IRS data”
The IRS doesn’t share data with anyone, much less governors, without specific guidelines, forms, and restrictions. And they don’t have data on what states corps do business in. They don’t care about that.
Well, Dad started his CPA firm 50 years ago (June 2), and when we built our current building in '96 he decided we need some thematic "artwork" so he had one framed all nice and neat for the lobby, right next to his CPA license. It causes lots of conversations for sure!
It will be made of concrete with a thin veneer of marble-colored stone, or with designs so it just looks like marble but is the cheapest stone-like thing available.
You know he's going to change the statue on top to be a giant gold statue of himself.
My dad says that there were remnants of the still there when they were building the house, and I know us kids found a lot of scrap metal there while playing in the woods.
Dad's looking forward to rebuilding the still in his retirement (any day now).
My Great-grandparents and grandparents lived on a hill known (locally) as Stiller's Hill. My parents bought land and built a house close to them when we moved to Oregon from Virginia.
Old Man Slice was gone by then but I understand his still was down in the hollow in our backyard forest.
We’ve got a framed one from 1913 in our lobby. It’s pretty cool.
Also, this is the stupidest thing. Of course you found women in regards to declining birth rates! Who else gets pregnant and carries human babies?? Women! GOSH this is so groundbreaking!
Maybe men should try carrying a baby inside their bodies, letting it feed off their substance, letting it wreck their internal organs and bones and skin, and then birth it through a tiny hole that is expected to stretch to accomodate a watermelon-sized thing.
Happy Artemis II homecoming day! Make sure to watch:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3kR...
I'm really enjoying the Artemis II mission livestream, commentary, videos and pictures, and can't wait for the astronauts to get back safely so I can start geeking out over Artemis III.
The best part is that my nephew and I watched the launch together, and he's been checking w/ me each day.
Pretty sure the batshit insanity every day is the point, to wear us down so we stop paying attention.
That's when the real bad shit happens, when they think we aren't watching.
Yeah, I realized I typed wrong but can't edit (stares aggressively at the BlueSky team).
Apologies to my neighbors to the North, I love you guys!
Please someone tell me if Trump lost his shit about how animated the astronauts were with the Canada Premier phone call versus how... bored they were on his (and thought they had lost audio)
Yeah, he didn't write that at all.
I work in payroll and know that a lot of tipped workers only make minimum wage. In some states, they earn less than fed mw and it gets made up in tips. I tip 20% because employers are cheap.
Republicans aren't great at remembering to use the correct names for people.
Out of touch, living in an alternate reality:
Blames Dems, but it's the Repubs who won't vote for compromise bills.

I love her but the only legal way to change your name with the federal govt is through the Social Security Admin.
It's easy to get a new DL with a different name, but it doesn't mean its your new legal name.
What name do you use to file your taxes? That's your legal name.
And what about men's sports? Are they doing DNA testing to make sure only men are participating in men's sports?
(spoiler: they aren't, because this is about control of women's bodies)
