In a different time I might have shared your enthusiasm but the politics of tech is so overwhelmingly directed toward social control and repression right now that it seems naive not to be wary. It’s a shame
True, there is literally no innovation that I do not expect tech companies to sic on labor or protestors for obvious reasons. So “look how our robots can outrun the best of you” is hard to read as benign
