Joining the chorus of celebrating Jessica Lee Gagné’s directorial debut in the latest episode of Severance. So beautiful—visuals, performances, just everything. 👏

The first time I saw this movie, it thought it was “okay.” Upon revisiting it, I’ve realized it is really great. Beautiful filmmaking, rich themes, powerful performances. It is now up there rivaling Arrival as my favorite Denis Villeneuve film.
I really loved The Holdovers. Intimate but powerful stakes. Funny and moving. Smart writing, great acting and directing. Just a solid, classically-good movie.
This movie is so well made and we had a blast extracting lessons from it!
