Every Republican in the race for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District is in favor of the federal SAVE Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote, but one candidate says he already helped pass a similar law on the state level.
Virginia: early voting for the redistricting amendment is happening now through April 18.
Protect your voting power and help level the playing field ahead of the midterm elections by voting YES today or on Election Day, April 21.
Just a reminder that our government is still committing these crimes against humanity. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/26/u...
Every chance you get, say “fuck you” to authoritarian demands. One of the regime’s tools is making people believe resistance is futile—that acquiescence is the only option. But especially for those with power and privilege, the most basic, necessary act is to say: FUCK YOU.
It would be great if we still weren’t fighting for these basic things in 20 freaking 25, but glad to see this bit of progress.

I think there is a legitimate sense that there never seems to be enough to go around to help Americans here at home. The problem isn't foreign aid, but I understand why billionaires like Elon Musk want you to think it is.
A few facts about USAID:
1. It's only .6% of the federal budget
2. Gutting its programs will cede American leadership abroad to China & Russia.
3. It's not up to an unelected billionaire to decide its future.
Only Congress has the power of the purse.
Oh Jack Daniels, say it ain’t so…

Does anyone have a decent repository of corporations who have not bent over for the orange overlord and co-president Elon on DEI? I feel like my purchases need to be streamlined.

Welcome!!!
Cecile Richards died. Trump is set to start lighting the constitution on fire (again) in just over an hour. On MLK Day. This is some cosmic bullshit.
Volunteering for temporary adoption of your children reject the coq au vin! Comfort food cooking here will likely be haluski (cabbage and noodles) or just a simple chicken soup.
"I have no hopes for 2025. Humanity is disappointing. We killed the Earth. Villains triumph and the innocents suffer. I imagine these trends will continue."
incredible -- the NYT ran fluff "what i hope to see in 2025" blurbs from CEOs and economists, and then this guy

ND looks good, I’m worried…
Today as we mourn the loss of President Jimmy Carter, we must remember and honor his remarkable life. A true public servant, he dedicated his life to peace, compassion, and service. His legacy of humility and humanity will inspire generations to come.
Just when it seemed we couldn’t lose any more decency in politics this year.

If you need *another* reason to root for Saquon Barkley to break Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record next week, here it is.

Let us please stop pretending Donald Trump understood everything his admin was doing at the time, much less now.
