That chord progression at the start of the song is subLIME.

Today, it’s:
1. Computer Blue
2. 17 Days
3. She’s Always In My Hair
Tomorrow it’ll be three other absolute bangers.
Feels increasingly like there is political pressure for this study to find a certain set of results which adds to the snowballing demand for us to *do something* even if that doing something (i.e. banning social media for under 16s) reduces liberty and connection. Great blogpost ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Given Kanye is in the news again, I’m reposting the terrific Freddie de Boer on the subject:

They can all play on Monday and then Saturday, no problem.
Yes they do, but it’s ridiculous. There was no way the likes of Cordoba or Slimane were going to start today.
A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all
Same!
Interesting thoughts, thanks. What would you put in the bucket of “common values” - respect, tolerance etc.? Things that align more with personality - conscientiousness etc.? Or would strong political values be included - redistribution to compensate for bad luck etc.?
And reinforcing narcissistic notions that our partners should be just like us. Why? Wouldn’t you want to date someone who’s really quite *different* in many ways to you?
Yes. Of course, yes. There are limits. But the idea we need to be “compatible” on things like this are creating ludicrous expectations for our relationships.
Yes, Cordoba for me.
Yeah. Blackburn are decent off the ball. Tactical changes needed on the ball.
Or Touré.
Always seemed like quite a good guy to me. Bit of a prima donna, but heart is in a good place. Decent player.
I don't agree with every single word, but this, by Freddie deBoer, on Kanye West, his apology, and mental illness, is a great read. Challenge your assumptions and give it a read.

Latest for @psychologytoday.com. TLDR version: January sees a spike in divorce petitions. Divorce plans aren't always dramatic; often it’s more of a nagging question: Is it still worth the effort? Instead, it’s worth asking another question: Are you a pleasure to live with?

“the third Monday in January is notoriously the gloomiest day of the year”, the BBC News website informs us, without revealing the source of this claim is a notorious nonsense PR survey from probably 20 years ago at this point.
I imagine it’s because he refused to play and broke his contract. Whereas Nunez just wanted out, so couldn’t be forced to train with U21s. PFA might still try and push back on it.
Always easy to advocate taking something away from others rather than oneself.
A hill I will die on: adults who advocate for a ban on teenagers using social media should face a ban themselves. I’m only half joking.

100%. The main chance we created last night Sarge basically created for himself with skill and strength. We have very little creative depth in the squad which some loans in Jan should fix short term. We’ll be fine.
Ah, sriracha sprouts sounds great. Do you have a recipe?
