Dysphoria got seriously bad today. Focus, couldn’t maintain a safe level of humanity to do my job and be around my coworkers. Nothing serious has happened, but a lot of minor mistakes were made. Boss is not mad.

Doubling down, there’s a peek at my drum and base folder on Beatport link. As you can see, a lot of tracks that I usually spin are now gone. I can’t stream these in a DJ set anymore. This is why I like to buy the tracks, I like the most. Or at least the good ones I like to mix. So I never lose it.
This is also why you shouldn’t completely rely on streaming services. Your favorite songs will disappear for one reason or another. I’m subscribed to three different services, but I still buy the tracks that I love the most, or that I want a DJ with on the go so I never lose them.
I prefer this original version. It’s a direct sampling of Meg Myers‘s cover of the track., Sure, but that vocal style adds more dramatic feeling. Something I relate to a lot more. Especially as a therian. The music video at the time even depicted synthetic sentience begging for freedom
Ever since Stranger Things, this version of the track was completely removed from stores and streaming services. Then he released another version, where Meg Myers sings it like Kate Bush and they make it all Stranger Things‘y with a show pertinent music video
