Watching the CR fight has confirmed for me that the Trump administration is going to be bad but maybe in none of the ways he’s promised and instead in entirely new totally incompetent (and probably equally dangerous) ways.

Hard not to get a bit nauseated reading/watching the latest hot Trumpworld gos when absolutely none of this was necessary. We should not be worrying about a government shutdown right now. But the chaos is titillating for some folks.

It seems rather hypocritical to say you want to end birthright citizenship when you’re basically allowing someone born in South Africa to be your co-president.

It’s not inconceivable to me that the House ends up being so ungovernable that they can’t pass a tax cut extension or even a border bill. Never a good sign when you are threatening to primary people 2 years before the next election when you will literally need their votes many times.
