A photo of a snowdrop flower - photographed before sunset with reflections in the foreground and the ball of the setting sun in the background. Only the wildflower is in focus - so the surrounding grass and the background is blurred. The colours are warm.
I've been overwhelmed by the many bots here - but I wanted to wish you (bots excluded 🤭) a nice spring where applicable.

I am back from our annual Patagonia photography tour and adventure and I wanted to share with you the Patagonian breeze that my group enjoyed on a beautiful morning! Some winds were more than 120 km/h! Torres del Paine, Chile.

The kind of mornings that can’t get any better…
From a memorable drone flight over the fog in Tuscany last year.
Can’t wait to be back next month for our annual workshop there.

I love the traditional fittings you sometimes find on the London Underground, they're like stepping back 100 years to a different life.

The edge of a very turquoise glacier with some broken icebergs in front (to the left) and brown water in the lagoon. The glacier has huge crevasses.
A meandering river in front of a glacier face (just seen top right) - the water is brown and the meanders are surrounded by turquoise ice with some snow. Looks as if an ox-bow lake might form. Very strange as this river is on a frozen glacial lagoon!
Some more aerial shots from #Iceland - this time from this incredible glacier and glacial lagoon it fed.
Great views galore. And everything's compressed into a couple of square kilometers. You don't have to roam far and wide. Really in love with that place 😀
Oh yes, definitely! 😀

Two nights ago there was a dust storm, but later than when this picture was taken. It was brewing, though. We stepped out of the kitchen slider into another world.
Auto White Balance got it completely wrong, but I'll take it LOL

A photograph of rugged sea cliffs along the coast at Arbroath, shown in black and white. The cliffs rise unevenly from the shoreline, their surfaces rough and jagged, with layers of rock forming deep grooves and sharp edges. The shapes are irregular and weathered, giving a strong sense of their weight and solidity. Below the cliffs, the sea appears smooth and almost mist-like due to the long exposure, with no visible waves or splashes. This creates a clear contrast between the still, solid rock above and the softened, flowing water below. The overall scene feels stark and stripped back, focusing attention on the structure and form of the cliffs, with the coastline stretching across the frame and no distractions from colour or detail beyond the rock and sea.

A black and white photograph of street lamps of Venice leading the way to the Basilica in the misty background
Even in the colder months you need to get up and out early to have a chance of a photograph with no people in Venice. The mist helps though
Photo by Anthony Macajone. A long, symmetrical corridor framed by concrete pillars recedes into darkness, creating a tunnel-like effect. The floor is wooden, subtly illuminated in cool blue tones that shift between light and shadow. The repetitive geometric lines draw the eye to a distant vanishing point where faint light outlines an indistinct object, possibly furniture or equipment, barely visible in the gloom. The space feels quiet, untouched, and suspended in time.
I’m hoping there’s an ice cream shop at the end of this.
