The book has its roots in a 2023 Oxford Centre for Religion & Culture seminar organised by Anthony Reddie and brings Bonhoeffer into conversation with voices often left unheard.
Regent’s Research Fellow Dr Mátyás Bódi and Principal Sir Malcolm Evans were at the House of Lords for the launch of new RE resources based on Regent’s research, supporting pupils to learn about freedom of religion and belief in the UK.

Before Christmas, Prof Anthony Reddie and the Centre for Black Theology, Oxford hosted an online seminar to celebrate the publication of 'Heavy Yoke' by Selina Stone, 'Black British and De-churched' by E. P. Lewis, and 'Imag(in)ing Jesus in the Universal or Particular' by Victoria Olaide Omotoso.
Jayne is a politician, activist and campaigner for LGBTQ+ equality within faith communities. The honour recognises her work tackling discrimination and prejudice against LGBTQ+ people in religious organisations.
