As anesthesia I’m biased, but my understanding is they were based on the 25% centile of time. 2- anesthesia is 100 percent dependent on surgical time, slow surgeon = more time. 3 vox is highly subsidized by insurance companies. 4- per hour my plumber makes more than me, I just work a lot of hours

I backpacked through Syria in 2008 for 2 months. Was a beautiful country with the most welcoming people of anywhere I have traveled before or since. I hope this regime change allows peace for a population decimated by war and that I (selfishly) can return to re-experience the amazing hospitality.
