After years of cheap cardboard Ikea desk for work I decided to treat myself to a nice standing desk. And my 1440p monitor from my gaming setup that Ive been neglecting a lot lately. Still got a ways to go but hopefully this keeps me more motivated at work lol.

I certainly could’ve spent another 45 minutes fighting Red and really blow my estimate out of the water if I wanted to given how that run went, but I didn’t have the luxury of being the last run of the event either.

If I had a nickel for every time Ive been the featured runner in a key image for a news article, I’d have 2 nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s fun that it’s happened twice.

Very proud of myself keeping my cool on stage and being able to come up with a solution quickly to keep things moving. And can’t thank my commentators enough helping keep things light in a tough situation. Overall it was wonderful seeing friends and putting on a good show. Here’s to the next event!

To have performed it….man what a Whirlwind going from “Im so fucked” to “We’re so back” in the span of one Whitney fight. I had genuine concerns about being able to finish the run that I just lost all sense of reason for a while there. I cannot understate how lucky I was in that moment.
