#FrontEndFriday BR green #Crompton 33008 'Eastleigh' (D6508) undergoing restoration at Shackerstone on the Battlefield Line. It sounds as if she is not too far away from running again which would be a fine sight indeed. #BRCW #BattlefieldLine @brcwco.bsky.social 3/4/26

I used to have fun winding up Ryanair Ops in Dublin by asking if they'd got any info on our Londonderry flight. I'd go through the IATA and ICAO designators and RAF Eglington before finishing off with "I'll see if BT Directory Enquiries can give me a number for them".

Inspirational because he's learned so much about how to grift every penny he can out of the lemmings that follow him?

They seem to ignore that most of what you see now will be green space again when construction finishes. Even the contractors who built HS1 can't find their work sites they worked from for years any more. Any comparable photos of motorways being built?

She's also very fast when she's off her lead.

That's what we're planning as we've been told any Dachshund in her could mean back problems later, and several of the opinions passed so far include them in the mix. The one thing I do know is she's an excellent tracker of foxes and very rarely fails once she's got the scent.

Ours is 7.7kg, but had the German Shepherd call amongst others. Think a DNA test is needed to finally settle our curiosity once and for all.

What breed is Sophie? We have a dog that looks exactly the same apart from the body is a little longer and the legs shorter and have no idea what she is.

The flag is hung upside down, that means that you're in distress! The wide white diagonal stripe should be at the top, not the bottom.

Why is it upside down?

loss of woodland and countryside adding the required capacity would also mean more woodland and countryside lost than building HS2. Once HS2 is open it will be just like the Elizabeth Line, more people than ever using it and wondering why it took so long to finish it.

Adding that capacity would mean closing those lines down for months as they're rebuilt with the required extra track, have earthworks modified to counter the effects of climate change and all bridges and tunnels altered to meet clearance requirements. For the environmentalists who scream about the

Does he not understand that VAT is a sales tax paid by everyone on all purchases except food and children's clothes? Or how about that most companies buying US goods are VAT registered so reclaim that tax?

Sorry, I'm not the one who is confused. I'm fully aware what Kryten wrote, hence my reply.
