"those who prioritize righteousness over profit will be honored, while those who prioritize profit over righteousness will be disgraced."
Guess which world leader recently made that statement.

Figured this out before the election, but it's very important to understand how the plan could end our free(?) country. It's stopped being a democratic republic at least 20 years ago. Corporate rule means less freedom. A constitutional democracy protects freedoms.

In the US, extreme heat causes more deaths each year than any other weather event, including floods, hurricanes and tornadoes.

Q: "Are you considering tariff relief for small businesses?" Trump: "Why do you always mention, you know, a couple of little businesses.
Proof the huge corporations that run the US are trying to kill small businesses, so their owners will have to work for them. It's why they opposed Obamacare.
Recessions/depressions are an opportunity for the super rich to buy up things for pennies on the dollar. Vultures will benefit off the dead economy. Millions will lose their jobs, and homes, and start paying rent to the rich and work for far less. We are short of workers right now, but not for long.
Good points and mostly true. Recessions are not inevitable though, and this will make the Great Recession seem like the roaring twenties. Trump and the super rich will not be hurt though. Interest rates on the US debt will plummet funding more tax cuts for the super rich.
I left Disney for a few reasons. My only grandparent, I ever knew, was missing me each holiday season, a low-speed car wreck messed up my neck (hands) & back, and seeing Disney not willing to pay for the magic (cast members), made it impossible for me to consider going into management, which sucks.
"I don't have a dream job, because I do not dream of work."
Our goal should be using AI and automation to virtually eliminate all work and jobs. People can spend their time living instead, but it will require a system where everyone financially benefiting from automation.

As a provider of tech services, I'm glad Trump tariffs do not affect tech services. Of course, a global recession is not good, but any small businesses looking for ways to lower costs, feel free to message me. Except those in the 7 states that tax tech services.

I just realized Trump Tariffs will help Jeff Bezos another way. Temu will be hit hard, and it's been very popular on TikTok. If it's gone or owned by Bezos, do you think Temu etc. will still be allowed to be sold on it, even at much higher prices? @mcuban.bsky.social

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
@mcuban.bsky.social Republicans and tax-prep companies have been pushing back, saying it’s unnecessary and a conflict of interest for the IRS to be a tax return preparer as well as collector and enforcer. See if your state is allowing you to use it: directfile.irs.gov/state

Trump only counts goods, and not services, in trade deficits. In 2023, the US had a goods trade deficit of $161.6 billion with the EU, while simultaneously having a services trade surplus of $104 billion, resulting in an overall trade deficit of $54 billion. @mcuban.bsky.social

I've always said, "Free speech is worthless if nobody is listening. You have to have a voice. @mcuban.bsky.social is the closest thing right now that I have as a voice. We are both tech guys, business owners, and practical rather than ideologues. If you want to know what's going to happen, watch!
Forever Chapter 11
Never ever heard of them.
Was this taken from a news release written by their PR department? Do you get paid for this? Seriously, I'm curious.
Trump is a horrible human being, but this is the ranting of a mentally ill person.
I guess the worst and most stupid want to lower the bar for themselves. Trump is extremely obsessed with vengeance against the 98% who are smarter than him.
Yep, he and his gang are selfish crooks full of hate. When their stupidity and incompetence is pointed out, they just double down as if in retaliation for it being pointed out.
Do they really want to create a country with no rule of law? Do they remember what happened to the UnitedHealthcare CEO? They should think hard about what could happen if Americans followed their example of just ignoring the rule of law. Also, how stupid can they get?
