29 years ago I hit my breaking point & I tried to kill myself because of him, now as my tattoo symbolized, I rose from my ashes in spite of him.

You can overcome darkness. Give yourself grace to do it in your own time, and the faith that you will, one breath at a time.

29 years and that night is seared into my brain. I share my writing not as a reminder of what that traumatic night did to me, but rather as a reminder of how far I have come. I share this to remind anyone who has had this trauma, that you can live with the memory AND thrive despite it.

I find it funny that they are all about protecting innocent fetuses, but once they are out of the womb, they are on their own. From children starving to teenage girls being abused - they couldn't care less. They are all frauds.
