Should the Reds add this veteran slugger now that he’s open to a short term deal?

My thoughts on Luis Robert and why the Reds need to target him in a trade

Would love that!
Yeah, poor word choice lol. “Guys they can stash in AAA and if they call them up they won’t worry too much about maybe losing them on waivers” is probably more accurate
Every org needs AAA veteran catchers who can be called up in a pinch. Reds have now added what I would assume to be the last of these types. They now have two.
The Major league back up still needs to be addressed but there’s several options still out there

Is this thing on?!
First time, long time. 👋
We're Europe's biggest baseball podcast and blog. ⚾
Any chance you lovely followers could repost to spread the word that we're here? 🤗
Oh, and please include us in your baseball Starter Packs! 🚀
I fell victim to his batted ball data multiple times in fantasy discussion lol. It never translated enough really
I thought he had said that but wasn’t sure. Could easily see a path where he gets significant time there
Spencer Steer a depth option at second?
McLain starts, Espinal is the back up. But if one gets injured Steer could slide in. Especially if multiple OF’s are added
Steer has played 28 games at second with the Reds
Frankie Montas, $14 mil, career 3.97 FIP
Brady Singer, India + Wiemer, 3.97 career FIP
Never seen it, but now I’m going to watch it
All fantastic. P,T, and A is one I watch multiple times. Bad Santa cracks me up every time
Come on now. We need more topics on that! Looks incredible, though
Brad, I need to know your must watch Christmas movies
Brady Singer has one start in GABP
6 innings, 5 hits, 0 runs, 1 BB, 6 K
Indias number away from GABP aren’t great either. I think it’s a fair trade and good for each team. KC gets a guy who can bat leadoff (something they really need) and the Reds get a solid arm to help eat some innings. Easier/cheaper to replace India for the reds than to add a SP, imo
Getting Singer is great. Really solid SP who has plenty of talent and adds some experience to the rotation
I think 2B is going to be okay without India and I’m very happy the FO didn’t talk themselves into Wiemer.
Love the move. More to go
Callihan being added should be a tell from the org.
He could provide org depth at 2b (especially if India is moved) and should push to climb the OF depth chart. Offers me than Hurtubise, in my opinion
Do you remember the last time a Rule 5 non protected player from the Reds system turned into you wishing they would have protected him? I honestly can’t think of one but I’m sure I’m missing someone
Where do I sign?
Thanks, Steve. Would be nice to see the Reds take advantage of their own park instead of away teams lol
I think $12-14 per year? Ish? 2 or three years. I could be way off
I understand it’s a low percentage…..but the idea of Jose Barrero having *a moment* in a Cardinals uniform against the Reds has been on my mind a lot
How many Reds players performed more than 5% better than you expected?
How different is that number of players compared to the avg year?
Health, development, roster upgrades, all lead me to think the team will be better. Couple random career years wouldn’t hurt either
A few options I think the Reds could turn to in order to improve their OF
(Trying to find some mutual from the other site so sharing this is appreciated!)

I’m enjoying it so far!
