It's not about the quality of these drawings etc, I just know that it helped me to get through difficult times. These days, if I pick up a pencil at all, the page stays empty. With the world being a shit show atm, I know it would be good for my mental health to have some kind of creative outlet.
A couple of weeks ago, I found a box full of drawings, short stories, comics, book ideas, and poems from when I was in primary school and in my early teens. I used to be a happy dilettante and I was so productive as a child. What happened?!? I wish I could get my creativity back 🥲

This might not be the most significant impact of AI, but one of insidious use I've seen is people tidying up photographs using AI (eg colourised and upscaled). The reason this bothers me, is it introduces AI artefacts into historical photos which then circulate and can cast doubt on originals 1/5
