Turned an Instagram post into a complex #BuildingThinkingClassrooms task! The staff’s Tipi building became our math challenge: calculating the surface area, pole length, and more. It fostered great discussions on Indigenous traditions and real-world measurement. So proud of the the students work.

Gave students AI-generated cell phone use data, then watched them use knowledge of broken line, bar, AND circle graphs before building amazing histograms. Huge chats about data & screen time ensued! Loved it. #buildingthinkingclassrooms

Hi Phil, sorry about the late reply. I sometimes use textbook questions as tasks or get AI to generate mild, medium and spicy tasks based on the topic. You can still find a lot of amazing teaching points as the students work through trig questions and use them for consolidation. Does that help?

Solid week on the esports front here at @oneilltitans our Titan Gold had a blast at the @EsportCanadaEDU rocket league nationals. We have a couple of #SmashBros competitors in @playvs and Ss having a blast in club action. @RCSD_No81

Our @oneilltitans Gold Rocket League made it to the @EsportCanadaEDU consolation final but lost to a tough team from Scott in an all @skschoolesports final. It was a great day TY to all involved it was a banger of a tournament. Big dub for scholastic esports in Canada.

One of my fav tasks is for Ss to explore polygons and come up with a formula to express the pattern they find on own.So much more powerful then just getting to copy formula.They are amazed that they can come up with it on their own #buildingthinkingclassrooms
