Finishing a half marathon is a feat. Less than 2:30, requires a lot of road time. My last was 2:40ish… my right knee, I did something to it at km 19, that last bit took foooooooorrrrreeeeevvvveeeerrrr.

Tech needs to slow down, and work towards AI that does not depend on so much water and electricity. They are motivated, and if they will not slow down themselves, govt must step in and slow them down deliberately through regulations tied directly to water and electricity consumption.

An education campaign is required. People need to learn just how much water and electricity these data centres consume. They need to learn how despite all of that, a data centre will raise local temperatures by several degrees, further compounding the problems.
