Just because a case gets ignored, dismissed or a jury find an accused abuser, not guilty, does not always mean they were in fact not guilty. A failure by the courts will never negate the truths of what happened.

When we experience stress or threat to our survival, our brains automatically activate a safety plan. That plan is carried out by way of stress/trauma responses. You see, the thing about the complacent is that when u are complacent or “neutral” in a situation such as mine, u are taking the side of the perpetrator. You wouldn’t like it if someone took the side of the perpetrator in a situation involving u or ur family. The complacent hurt me & ALL survivors.
