On the evening of July 11, eyewitnesses and local reporters saw ICE agents leading handcuffed women and children into unmarked vans outside the downtown federal building at 300 N. Los Angeles St. Reports describe children shackled at the wrists and ankles, marched into custody during an ongoing wave of immigration raids across LA, according to footage gathered by L.A. TACO.

Later that night, protesters gathered outside the building to demand accountability. Several were arrested during the peaceful demonstration. The footage shows ICE agents forcibly removing the demonstrator's American flag and throwing it to the ground, trampling it while clearing the area.
