LORE: Carly "Ghost" Pérez, 18 y/o, they/them. Ghost was born and raised in the prestigious suburbs of Freida Hills, their father a Kulakov ComSec agent and their mother a housewife. They were born with psychic abilities, but their father working in information control combined with their innate mind-reading abilities meant they understood deeply how important it was to their safety that their abilities remained utterly secret. Their parents had suspicions - having subjected them to some normalising surgeries as an infant to remove the more obvious signs of mutation, but did not know for a fact if they had abilities or not and were unwilling to broach the topic in conversation. The campaign will start with them learning something about their father's work that pushes them to run away from home. What exactly they see, I won't know until the game starts several weeks from now. I might die of anticipation.

The most fun I've ever had with a game is one I played with my school buddies where we just rolled a dice, added our own stats and skills and played based on the emerging narrative.

There was a system. There was mana. Rulings were built, but 70 percent was just us riffing.
