I disagree that the Democratic Party as an instition, especially in recent years, has either abjured its left flank or shied away from contentious social issues. I also disagree that they've gone too far with it, but I don't think the underlying contrast (that Dems haven't gone left) is true.
I kind of thought a Republican senate would just look at Trump and say, "Alright, shh, there there" and do what they wanted instead of indulging his more outré weirdo shit like this, and yet
I don't think you should print lies in the newspaper, even if they're popular lies with your friends online.

MEMORY UNLOCKED (+1000 XP)

The fact that police unions aren't gun control's strongest soldiers is some real "leylines underpinning our society" stuff.
I think you're okay to miss Lolita. Hardboiled Wonderland is great, but if you're gonna check out Murakami, I'd suggest "Wild Sheep Chase" as both better and more representative.
That's fine, but when you're ready, I'll tell you about Homestar Runner.
I was working on one that would have drawn in Barth and Fowles, but what's the point now
I don't really read "fiction." If I need distraction from looking at the real world, I'll just reread my copy of "A People's History." I find something new every time.
Oh, those? Those are just my first edition Vonneguts, no big deal.
"Star Wars"? Pff. How about we go down to the corner bar and talk about who would have won in a fight, Hunter S. Thompson or Charles Bukowski
Videogames? Miss me with that. I'm reading "Lolita" and appreciating it on a level you wouldn't understand.
Enjoy your baby pablum like the MCU. Meanwhile, I'm staring eyes wide open at real culture, like Studio Ghibli.
You do have a certain Night Tripper quality to you.

"We'll expose why the Dems don't want you to be able to buy a house"
It's certainly a statement of purpose!
