We’re having some great conversations about object storage, and learning about what other folks are building. Stop by booth F635 to get in on these convos and see how Tigris can help you build and ship faster. #DataAISummit
Lifecycle rules: A look at what I've been working on at Tigris over the last few months. Its been really fun with a lot edge cases and weird scenarios to consider.

The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plain. Well not always. I wrote a post about using AI to transform a phrase using different tones.

For those looking for a deep dive into LLM's
S3 (Iceberg) Tables is everything I dreamt of, and more. I blogged some long-form thoughts: meltware.com/2024/12/04/s...
I think we're about to see an explosion of data tools (@materialize.com, @clickhouse.com, @duckdb.org, et al.) learn to write Iceberg tables via S3 table buckets.

I've used the obsidian slides plugin mszturc.github.io/obsidian-adv...
it isn't perfect but you can edit with css for any touch-ups. The slide generation process is then nice and quick with great code formatting.
Awesome, I'll take a read. Thanks
So does that mean logs in a ledger could be out of order?
New blog post on the fun new hardware advancements which databases can leverage for great gains, and why the cloud means it doesn't matter that they exist. 🫠

I'm excited to share a new Tigris Data feature I've been working on: object notifications!
This allows you to receive updates when objects in your bucket change. If you curious on how we implemented it?
I've written a post about it: www.tigrisdata.com/blog/how-we-...
I was sceptical about coding with AI. I reluctantly tried Cursor and now I'm not sure I could code without it. It's like a sidekick that wants to do the grudge work and give me new ideas.
I send out a monthly change log email that contains the latest notes from my public notes along with book recommendations and online articles I've enjoyed. Latest one is here buttondown.email/garren/archi...
If you enjoyed it please spread the work.
