You're definitely in scope, it's a case of whether one of the curators tagged you in, or the geolocator maybe (if you're hosted in the UK). They are still crawling, it's 'only' access that's down. You could drop them a line and ask?
They will almost certainly be archiving it already, under non-print legal deposit, via the UK Web Archive. If they had the resources to recover from the BL cyberattack, you could check this yourself, and with your permission UKWA could make it open access.

I will share more of our findings as we get into data analysis, but we're reviewing energy usage & climate impact metrics for our cloud-hosted digital collections at MPOW, and the results have been really misaligned with what our expectations were. I strongly encourage other folks to do this.

What is "bit rot"? How safe are your data? Researching this for future episodes on the subject brought me to the Centre of Computing History in Cambridge www.computinghistory.org.uk where I talked to Adrian Page-Mitchell, who showed me a "decaying" laser disc (BBC Domesday project).
Thank you!
Everyone wants to blame the content: misinformation, bots, polarisation. That mistakes catalysts and symptoms for the underlying causes. The crisis isn’t bad information, it's that the very information infrastructure we relied on to create a shared understand of the world had changed completely.

This story is one of lapses in cybersecurity and digital preservation. I read it thinking of Palantir and its access to NHS data… what could go wrong for the people of the UK? www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
It can be tricky to preserve social media. Here is a @flickrfdn.bsky.social report "The State of Social Media Archiving Tools:"

Things keep reminding me of youtu.be/6T2zUEiVQU4?... - it's all rather depressing.
Trying to find ways to describe how digital media work, so different tactics (emulation, migration, etc.) are clearer. Does this start to help?
